Health advice can be found on: NHS Inform.

A free helpline can give advice if you do not have symptoms, but are looking for general advice: 0800 028 2816.

Are you self-isolating due to COVID 19 and don’t have family, friends or neighbours you can call on and don’t know who to turn to for help? You can now contact your local COVID-19 volunteer support group. Your community support group is run entirely by volunteers who are supported by several local organisations.

We can support anyone who needs short term assistance. This could be help with shopping, collecting prescriptions, emergency help with food packages or support for other essential items such as nappies, baby food etc...

Please note that our volunteers cannot provide in home visits, medical advice or replace any of the services you currently receive from other agencies such as social work or professional carers.

Please select your community council area from the menu on the left of this page for more details about support in your area.
